NATURAL DYE CAMP 2.0
NATURAL DYE CAMP 2.0
It’s back! September 18, 19, 20th 2026
Explore plants of the Northern California coastal landscape, how to extract color for natural dyes, and what it means to grow a relationship with plants and place. Hosted at the beautiful Elderflower Farm in Caspar, CA.
The property is fully off-grid, providing a tranquil space for us to gather, engage our senses and skill-build in community. You can expect two days of hands-on workshops learning how to identify, forage and process plants for natural dyes. We will use foraged plants and cultivated flowers right from the farm. You’ll take home a full dye swatch card of the colors created, as well as a raw silk scarf or handkerchief.
The weekend will provide a mix of guided and self-led downtime, three home cooked meals and plenty of time to commune with nature. Camp under the stars, partake in fireside chats or an evening soak in the wood fired hot tub.
I’m looking forward to being there for the second annual camp out and hope you’ll join, too!
Please email meganmesloh@gmail.com if you have any questions, or would like itinerary details before signing up. Discounted pricing available for local residents in Mendocino County.
